I will offer a competitive, all-inclusive tender price that takes account of the following factors:
1. The value of the contract
2. The urgency of delivery. If completion is required within three working days of acceptance of the job, expect to pay more!
3. The size and complexity of the contract, taking into consideration all research
4. The relative strengths of the parties. The chances are that if you are a small IT business dealing with a major multinational, negotiations may be more protracted and painful.
5. Travel, and, though highly unlikely, accommodation. My presence may be required during negotiations if swift progress is necessary.
6. All communications, telephone, email, written, and associated mailing and stationery costs
I will not be making money off phone calls, emails, letters. There will not be a continual drip of mounting charges, with time billed in 15 minutes blocks and every communication costing you money.
